Getting a Reveal LINQ Insertable Cardiac Monitor (ICM)
The Reveal LINQ™ Insertable Cardiac Monitor (ICM) is placed during a simple outpatient procedure. The Reveal LINQ ICM is very discreet. Once it is placed, it is not noticeable in most patients.
Reveal LINQ ICM Procedure Overview
Following is an overview of the minimally invasive Reveal LINQ ICM insertion procedure:
- A small incision is made.
- The Reveal LINQ ICM is inserted.
- The incision is closed.
After a brief recovery period, you may go home the same day. Talk with your physician to learn more about the procedure.
Most insurers provide coverage for an insertable cardiac monitor.
